Membership Dues
Membership Dues invoices were e-mailed, faxed or mailed the week of April 10th. If you have not received your invoice for 2006-2007, please let us know (765.674.7545). A hearty thanks to those of you who have already responded with payment - it is much appreciated.
The Chamber operates solely on dues income and your timely payment is needed. Dues are based on the number of employees, and your invoice should show the number of employees that is on record for your business/organization. If that amount has changed, please let us know as it affects your membership rate. Part-time employees are counted two for one (i.e., two part-timers make one full-time employee.).

New Member Spotlight
Bill D. Pattison, Artistic Expressions, Inc., describes his business as a publisher of limited edition prints and songs. Bill is originally from Gas City, and knew from childhood that he was to be an artist. Bill says if he were not in his current profession, he would be a professional fisherman. His favorite community event is the Ducktail Run and the 4th of July Fireworks. His dream vacation would be to go to Ireland (Bill is Irish) and his hobbies are painting, song writing, fishing and traveling. He most admires his parents, Max and Effiebelle Pattison. He names his greatest accomplishment as being in "Who's Who in American Art" and the one thing he would like to accomplish that he has not yet would be to have a major hit song on the radio. "I knew it was my destiny to move back to Gas City, when my father died in 1998," he says. "I'm very proud to be living here and am committed to help the future of Gas City.
(Note: Bill created a print entitled, "Historic Gas City" which he gave to the Historical Society to be used as a fundraiser for the Gas City Museum in 2000. It has been said that Bill Pattison "captures those fleeting moments in time, which are truly American". His graphite drawings and oil paintings have won over 100 awards, through juried exhibits and he has been featured in numerous publications. He has gained international popularity and has exhibited in Cyprus, Greece, and Canada. His work has been marketed in Japan, Brazil and South Africa.)
