Letter from the President
It is hard to believe a year has gone by already. And, as I promised nearly a year ago the Chamber has taken a look at their programs and determined it is time to let some of them go while creating others. There have been some great debates about our programs and which ones should go, but in the end, it made us stronger and provided us with vision for the future.
As we near the end of another school year, the perfect attendance committee led by Susan Bournique is collecting donations. The children really look forward to getting this award. It's like Christmas in May. They can't wait to find out what's inside those boxes. Remember, they will be your future employees, so let's encourage perfect attendance!
Our other programs are gearing up as well. Dennis Banks and his committee are already working on the Chamber's 2nd Annual Golf Outing scheduled for July 13th, and Mark Galenski and his committee are working on the Home and Business Showcase scheduled for October 15th.
Our annual meeting will be Tuesday, April 26th at the Eastview Wesleyan Church. Nancy Hoover and the rest of her committee have been making the plans for what is sure to be an entertaining evening. Hope to see everyone there.
And finally, thank you for allowing me to serve as your Chamber President. I have enjoyed leading this great organization, and I encourage all of you to get involved. As always, remember to buy local, shop local.
