2006-2007 Officers

Mark Sullivan, Ex-Officio, was reelected as President after the resignation of Mark D. Galenski.  Mark is originally from Fairmount, is a graduate of Southern Wells High School.  Post graduation he joined the military where he was a Communication Security Technician and Crash Recovery Specialist for the 9th Air Force and the United States Central Command.  Upon returning to Indiana, he worked for and with family members in several different business ventures before resigning and selling his interest.  Mark now is a Sales Representative and Manager for Irving Materials, Inc. and performs business and landscaping consultations.  He is supported by his wife Brenda and daughter Brooke.  Mark is an active member of:

Janet Blake, President-Elect
Janet is from Atlantic City, New Jersey, but has been here 1999.  Janet works for Next Level Communication located at 1024 E. Fairview Drive, Gas City 46933.  Janet brought a wealth of experience to her current position ranging from foodservice buyer and sales to a General Manager at a packaging firm and Quality Assurance Manager at a glass company.  She has traveled throughout the US and Europe which only enhances her abilities.  Janet has an intense work ethic and strives to “be the best” at whatever she does.  Janet is also a realtor and a Member of the Marion Board of Realtors and she is a member of the Gas City Kiwanis.  She serves as a Diplomat for the Gas City Area Chamber.  Janet’s hobbies are golf and bowling.  She may be reached at 765/677.0668 or by e-mail:  nlevelcommncatn@indy.rr.com.

Susan Knapp, R.N., CHPN, graduate of the Mississinewa High School Class of 1977 and Ball State University Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing 1981 was elected by unanimous vote as the next Vice President of the Gas City Area Chamber of Commerce on March 9, 2006.  Susan has a Registered Nurse work history which includes the following:  1981-1982 Ball Memorial – Labor and Delivery, 1982-1994 Community Hospitals Indianapolis – Labor and Delivery and Oncology, 1994-2004 Marion General Hospital – Home Health and Hospice and 2004 to present Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home Patient Care Coordinator.
