The 5th Annual Gas City Area Chamber Golf Outing will be Friday, July 25, 2008.  Your Chamber anticipate raising over $4,000, which will help support the many Chamber sponsored activities through the year, which directly and indirectly benefits the businesses in our community. 

On behalf of this year’s Chamber Golf Outing Committee, I ask for your participation in two ways:

(1) Golf Registration entry = yourself or a 4 person team; (2) Business Sponsorship. 

A Business can Sponsor the outing in several ways:

• HOLE-IN-ONE SPONSOR = opportunity to display a vehicle, lawn equipment, jewelry, etc.  At the golf course; your company/organization’s name will be displayed on the Hole-In-One hole during the outing. (Insurance Premium Cost Sponsor for prize valued at $5,000 - $20,000 value, incl. Hole-In-One association signage)

• CONTEST HOLE SPONSORS = provide Longest Drive & Closet to the Pin contest hole sponsor and prizes;  your company/organization’s name will be displayed at the contest Tee station during the outing  (Contest Hole Sponsor prize worth minimum of $100  value) Sponsors may staff the hole with employees to meet and greet golfers during outing

• HOLE SPONSORS = your company/organization’s name will be displayed on the Tee station as a sponsor during the outing. ($100 per Hole Sponsor per location) Sponsors may staff the hole with employees to meet and greet golfers during outing

• LONG PUTT CONTEST SPONSOR = the winning foursome will select one member of their team to make a 50 to 100 foot put to WIN $5,000 CASH for their team;  your company or organization’s name will be displayed at the contest Putting area during the outing  ($200 Sponsorship)

• OASIS BEVERAGE SPONSORS = your company/organization’s name will be displayed at the 1st Hole and on the Oasis golf carts during the outing ($100 Sponsorship)

• GIVE-A-WAY SPONSOR = provide misc. business give-a-way items to be distributed to each golfer (Promote Your Business –items may be dropped off at the Chamber office)

• ALL SPONSORS WILL BE LISTED IN THE PRESS RELEASES BEFORE AND AFTER THE EVENT.

• YOUR COMPANY/ORGANIZATION WILL BE HIGHLIGHTED AS AN OUTING SPONSOR IN THE CHAMBER NOTES NEWSLETTER www.GasCity.com

Sponsoring is a relatively inexpensive, but a very effective way to promote your business to the community and to your fellow Chamber Members.

In conclusion, I want to THANK YOU again for your support as a member of the Gas City Area Chamber of Commerce.  Without faithful members such as you, we would not have the successful community that we all enjoy today.  A member of our planning committee will follow up with a phone call within the next few weeks.
